| Abstract |
- "A half-hour program, aired Sunday afternoons, highlighting black citizens' contributions to the community. It features a telephone call-in format to which only black people are asked to contribute. The purpose of the program is to build understanding between the white and black communities."--1968 Peabody Digest. Host Don Warden opens the program by recommending that, in order to help the race, blacks should study science, business administration, investment strategy or black history
- This episode's guest is singer James Brown. Brown talks with men and women callers about how more blacks can break into the entertainment industry, why he hasn't done any films, black contributions to culture, natural hair, and the meaning of soul. Warden introduces five boys and men from the community and says that they reflect the heroic qualities epitomized by James Brown
